Julie Carpenters drawings are portraits of musicians at FolkEast who have fascinated and inspired her. This zine brings together 9 of her favourite images all of which are of musicians are drawn live in concert. To capture them she uses a technique of being very present in the moment of drawing. She has a minimalist style with the lines depicting the essential elements, as the musicians played.
